Ascenda One Pty Ltd (Ascenda Flow) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use this site, the Mac app, or the work-pattern baseline, why we collect it, and who we share it with. It is designed to align with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) and Apple App Store guidelines.

1. What we collect

When you use this site we may collect:

Your name and email address (when you submit the waitlist or early access form, or when you sign in to purchase)
Your responses to the work-pattern baseline questions
Operational events from tools you connect to the Mac app (such as counts, timings, retries, compaction, loop depth, and tool switches)
Text you deliberately submit to cloud chat when you choose to use that Pro feature
Billing and entitlement metadata associated with your account (tier, features, licence key records — not full card numbers)
Anonymous usage analytics (pages visited, session duration, plans viewed) without licence keys or emails in event payloads

We do not collect payment information, government identifiers, or sensitive health records. The work-pattern baseline collects self-reported answers about how you work — not clinical or biometric data.

The Mac app is local by default.

Your journal and reflections stay on this Mac unless you turn on sync. Connected tools provide operational shape — counts, timings, and tool events — not your keystrokes, screen, messages, or source code. Cloud chat processes only the text you deliberately submit to that conversation.

2. Why we collect it

To hold your spot for Ascenda Flow early access and email you a personal baseline link
To personalise and return your work-pattern baseline results
To process Pro subscriptions, issue licence keys, and manage entitlement
To provide cloud chat and cross-device sync when you choose to enable those Pro features
To send relevant updates about Ascenda Flow (you can unsubscribe at any time)
To understand how people use the site and continuously improve our experience

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your data. We work with the following trusted third-party services:

Email communications — your name and email address are sent to ActiveCampaign to manage your waitlist placement and send follow-up emails. You can unsubscribe from any email at any time.

KindeTheir privacy policy ↗

Authentication — when you sign in to purchase Pro or manage your account, identity is handled by Kinde (email and optional social connections). We use this to link your Ascenda account for billing and entitlement.

StripeTheir privacy policy ↗

Payments — when you purchase Pro, payment is processed by Stripe Checkout. Card details are handled by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers on Ascenda systems.

PostHogTheir privacy policy ↗

Product analytics — anonymous usage events (e.g. page views, form completions, plans viewed) are sent to PostHog to help us understand how people use the site. Licence keys and emails are never included in these events.

LinkedIn Conversions APITheir privacy policy ↗

Conversion tracking — on successful waitlist signup, a one-way SHA-256 cryptographic hash of your email address is sent to LinkedIn solely to measure advertising effectiveness. The hash cannot be reversed to recover your original email.

4. Data security

All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS 1.2+). We apply best-practice security controls and restrict access to authorised personnel only. Data is hosted on enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure with encryption at rest.

5. Your rights

You may at any time:

Access the personal information we hold about you
Request correction of any inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data at any time
Withdraw consent and unsubscribe from communications
Lodge a complaint with your local privacy authority (e.g. OAIC in Australia)

6. Data retention

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law. You may request deletion at any time by contacting privacy@ascenda.one.
